I began working in the Triangle after completing cosmetology school (Leon's Beauty Academy) in 2002. In addition to my experience and initial education, I have had further training in L'Oreal, Goldwell, Aveda, and Bumble and bumble, including razor cutting and blow-dry styling certificates from Bumble and bumble University in New York. I am very passionate about my industry and I love seeing the finished product. Dry cutting and blow-dry styling are just some of my methods that give my clients a look they will be proud of. I am very detail oriented and through my consultations I produce what my clients desire. From highlights to dimensional color, I aim to please.

When I am away from Citrine I love to make a little extra time to shop! Spending time with my husband, friends, and family is important to me. And, I enjoy pampering my animals: three sweet dogs and a kitten named Polly!

I look forward to a bright and beautiful future with you.

Trained at Leon's Beauty Academy in Greensboro, NC, I have been in the hair industry since 2002. Since then I have become specialized in hair color and highlighting, as well as corrective color. I also love to do short, sassy razor cuts! I've been trained as a Goldwell certified colorist as well as Aveda colorist. I've trained at Bumble and bumble University as a certified razor cutting stylist and also blowdry and finishing stylist.

In my cutting technique, I incorporate a lot of dry cutting and finishing work. I love to play up your cut with beautiful color. I can do very natural color to very funky and trendy. I am a good listener and truly hear what you, as the client, desires in your hair style. My goal is for you to leave my chair feeling great about yourself. Some of the things I enjoy doing outside of work are spending time with my son and husband, going to the lake where I enjoy wakeboarding, tubing and having fun with family and friends. I also like spending time riding horses. And, of course, I love to shop! I would love to see you at Citrine Salon and give you the best hair you've ever had!

I graduated from the International Institute of Hair Design of Raleigh in 1998. After a decade of working for award winning salons in the Triangle, I have finally found my home at Citrine. I have extensive training in L'Oreal, Goldwell, Aveda, and Bumble and bumble (including cutting and blow-dry styling certificates from Bumble and bumble University in New York). My specialties include highlighting, color, men's haircuts, and cuts for curly hair. However, I enjoy every aspect of hair design.

When not at Citrine I love supporting the local music scene and going to rock shows; watching college basketball (Go Heels!); spending time with my amazing friends; and kicking back with my two loves — my dogs — Truman and Joni Mitchell.

My work is my passion. There is nothing I love more than to connect with people and make them look and feel their best.

By infusing your personal style with my experience, I will help guide you to a cut and color that best suits your look and lifestyle.

Remember: HAIR IS IMPORTANT.

I am a senior hair designer of 21 years. During this time, I have had continuous, extensive training in Goldwell, Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Paul Mitchell and Redken. With each new season I love to go to advanced training classes to stay up on the latest trends and techniques. My specialty is color, highlights and hair cuts. I am also certified to do Keratin Treatments. I love to get to know my clients to be able to give them a hairstyle that works for them. Anything from subtle to a drastic change, I love a challenge. My priority is to preserve the integrity of the hair. Your hair is the one thing you wear everyday of your life. You might as well love it.

In my free time outside of the salon I love singing, riding bikes, working out and relaxing with friends and family, usually at the beach.

Born and raised in Greensboro, I moved to New York City after graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in modern dance. After 8 years our touring the world with a major dance company, I decided to pursue my other passion... hair and makeup styling. I graduated from the Learning Institute of Beauty Science in April of 2000 and began assisting world reknown colorist, Jo Blackwell-Preston at Dop Dop Salon. Within a few years , I worked my way from assistant to master stylist, seeking further education when possible with Redken, L'Oreal Professionel, Copolla, and Toni and Guy. Since 2007, my partner Tiffany and I have had our own business in New York and continue to visit clients there. I am thrilled to have found Citrine Salon and feel lucky that I have landed here.

Outside of work, my main focus is my family which includes twin boys Rowan and Milo. When and if I have time, I love to take a yoga/dance class, work on a current painting, and/or work in the garden.

Tiffany Brightman

Tiffany Brightman hairstylist

I moved to New York City from San Francisco in 1995. while working as a production designer on films I found myself hanging around the hair and makeup trailer in my off time, which inspired me to change course and go to beauty school. After graduating, I apprenticed for two years under some of the top stylists in New York at salons such as Warren-Tricomi, Bumble and Bumble, and Dop Dop. I have also had the privilege of taking extra educational training at the vidal sassoon academy, L'oreal professional and Redken New York, and Mahogany of London. Since 2007, my partner Glen and I have had our own business in New York, specializing in color and cuts.

"If you could do anything to my hair, what would it be?" is a question I am often asked. My answer is always "exactly what i am doing." I believe in giving someone the best style to fit their personality, maintenance, and styling needs. I can design things from extremely creative to beautifully classic, blending cut and color to create the most complimentary style for each client.

When i am not working, my other passions include spending time with my twin sons, photography, and cooking.

Angela Caparo

Angela Caparo esthetician

I'm often asked whether I there is a specific service I enjoy more than any other. This is a hard question to answer because, for me, being an esthetician isn't simply about the services. Rather, I enjoy being part of the service industry.

What I love most about my job is that no two days are ever the same — there are always new faces and a variety of activities. To me, my job is like a favorite mix-tape full of colorful voices, expressions and fascinating stories from the people I have the privilege to serve. My room is a comfortable place where you can come to relax, escape, meditate or laugh your worries away for awhile.

After receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Baylor University, I decided that I didn't want to be a starving artist. I had always been interested in skincare and theatrical makeup, so it was natural for me to follow up my formal education by studying esthiology.

Continuing education in esthetics has been an important constant for me over the past decade. I strive to stay at the forefront of my profession, learning and incorporating new techniques and trends so that you can always look and feel your best. My goal is to meet you wherever you are, whether you prefer minimal maintenance or want to explore the drama of bold colored makeup.

In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, singing in the car, watching movies and occasionally exercising. I've given up on knitting for the time being.

I'm proud to say that I have always worked for award-winning salons, and have received many outstanding reviews from clients. I am honored to provide you with excellent service and care. Thank you!
