The Curly Dilemma

I am giving a call out to all my fellow wavy and curly haired women.  And I am letting you know that you are not alone.  My hair gets frizzy and huge in the humidity too. Luckily, there are solutions!  Not only do we have fabulous stylists here at Citrine Salon who understand curly hair and how to cut it well but we have amazing products that can help tame the frizz.  I personally like the Bumble and Bumble Definig Creme after shower product to give my curls hold while at the same time not making them stiff.  Getting your hair cut is only the first step to fabulous hair, the products are the next step to keeping your hair looking as awesome as it did when you left the salon!

Winter Static Blues?

Static is driving all of us crazy! It happens when your hair picks up an electrical charge from the dry air which is more common in the cooler months because the air doesn’t have as much moisture. To fight this hairdo killer…. switch over to a  hydrating shampoo and conditioner for your hair type! Our Davines Hair Care products are best for this. (Also, if you’re wondering what those ionic hairdryers are good for - it’s to help tame static. It sucks out less moisture than other dryers!)

For straight/fine haired ladies: try our Davines DeDe Shampoo and Leave In Spray Conditioner. To tame those ends, use our MoMo Cream! It’s not heavy so you won’t have to worry about grease and weighdown! (A little added bonus, it helps with body, shine and softness!)

For Wavy/thick haired ladies: try our Davines MoMo Shampoo and NouNou Conditioner. Your thick hair can handle our deep nourishing treatments. To help with other fly aways, try MoMo AntiFrizz Serum!  The MoMo Cream can work for you as well!

…. and kiss that static good bye!!

(P.S.  A little hairdressing secret- keep a dryer sheet handy on super static-y days!)
